Hey, all you stylish peeps out there, get excited! Wanna know why? Well, it’s December, of course. And, NOPE! We ain’t talking about Christmas or New Year’s at all. There’s a lot more than just these celebrations that December has in its bag to offer us. That’s right! India’s own Coachella and Glastonbury, all rolled-up into one, the ‘Bacardi NH7 Weekender’ is ready to take off it’s 2017’s flight in Pune, from today. Hell yeah!
And, guess what? This eighth edition of the fest is returning with some kick-ass artists, including guitarist Steve Vai, punk rock icon Marky Ramone, metal legends Textures and The Dillinger Escape Plan, and hip-hop group Swet Shop Boys. India artists including Indian Ocean, Vishal Bhardwaj, Karsh Kale Collective, Ram Sampath, Dualist Inquiry, Thaikkudam Bridge, The Raghu Dixit Project, and specially curated sets by Blackstratblues and Rudy Wallang. Now that’s what we call a ‘DAYUMN DECEMBER’!
But, with all of this excitement happening, you have wardrobe blues, and you can’t deny them! You wanna look FAB, but can’t decide whether to pull-off a lady-like look in a mini or maxi dress OR a badass one in a cult t-shirt, a pair of distressed jeans and high-ankle boots. Well, fret no more, because we’ve got you all covered with the top five snazziest looks. Check them out here:
Music-fests are a great way of embracing your boho/ hipster spirit, but let us remind you that Halloween is over. There’s no need to dress-up in that gothic look anymore. Instead, give your free-spirited look a major-swing by dressing-up in an off-shoulder top with a pair of distressed jeans and tan colored sandals. Trust us, a bit of tan color in your attire will make you look music-fest-ready. Compliment this look with minimal junk jewelry, a sling bag to carry all your essentials, and a shrug just in case the night gets a bit nippy.
2. A HINT OF PRINT
This one’s our FAV. Well, because it’s a no brainer AND it gives a fun vibe to the look. Wondering how to master it? The trick is to keep the outfit simple – monochrome from top-to-bottom, and add a hint of print to it. A printed long shrug, a jacket, a scarf or a pair of pop-colored sneakers can add an interesting touch to the look.
3. DO THE DENIM
Trust a denim shirt, jacket, dress or a pair of jeans when you can’t decide what to wear for the NH7 fest. A pair of denim joggers or jeans with a basic white shirt and a pair of sneakers OR a denim-on-denim look for you guys is OH-SO-HANDSOME! Girls, try out denim-overalls with a splash of paint for a quirky touch, a white top and a pair of strappy sandals for a carefree look..
4. FOR THE LOVE OF FRINGES!
From fringed leather skirts, to gypsy fringed bags, trust us, anything with fringes are meant for music fests. Make sure that you’ve added this trend to your look. Give your casual t-shirt and a pair of shorts combo a grungy look by adding a fringe bag to it OR give that glitzy jumpsuit a sassy touch by adding a pair of sturdy boots and a fringed backpack. You can never go wrong with this!
5. ACCESSORIES FTW!
No music-fest-look is complete without quirky accessories. Although, it’s best to go easy on them, but a printed bandana, a scarf, a cutesy backpack, chunky jewelry or a hat, will make you finish your look to FAB! You can also add funky badges to your denim jacket just-for-fun.
There you go! Hope your tickets are booked and all your style problems are sorted with this post. Do let us know if you liked this piece in the comment section below. Now go on, have fun, and ace this year’s ‘Bacardi NH7 Weekender’ in style!!!
