Definition: A knitting technique for sweaters used to create patterns and traditional motifs with multiple colours. Named after a tiny island in Scotland, it gained popularity in 1921 when Prince of Wales wore a Fair Isle tank top at a public event.
Definition: A delicate kind of jewellery metalwork, usually of gold and silver, made with tiny beads or twisted threads, or both in combination, soldered together or to the surface of an object of the same metal and arranged in artistic motifs. It is popular in Indian and French jewellery making industries.
Definition: A small pouch usually made of leather or fabric and secured with a zipper closure which is worn by the use of straps around the hips or waist. It is also known as buffalo pouch. You may remember Carrie Bradshaw donning this style often in hit TV show Sex and the City!
Definition: Fedora is a type of felt hat with a wide brim and an indented crown. Popular in the street style, this hat first gained recognition in the movie Indiana Jones.
Definition: A headpiece, usually formal but can be decorative and extravagant as well, worn as an alternative to hats by the ladies.

Fringe: The biggest trend at the New York Fashion Week Spring 2016, fun fringes were making waves at the runways from Dion Lee to Christian Siriano to Prabal Gurung. These slashed edges were seen on everything- dresses, skirt linings, bags, jackets, shoes and even earrings!
