It seems like only yesterday when we were publicly affirming our 2017’s resolutions. Knowing that we won’t keep-up with any of them at all. *SUCH A JOKE*. But, look where we are once again, super pumped-up to write on a fresh slate with a new set of resolutions to kick-start 2018. Hmmm, time really flies!

Never mind to those half-achieved or none-achieved-at-all targets we made in the beginning of the year. The least we can do is wrap-up the year on a happy note. And, what’s better than having a blast at a PARTY? Honestly speaking, we just need another reason to get out the house on New Year’s Eve.

We’re guessing that most of you would’ve already blocked the calendars and venues for NYE, probably to some fancy restaurant, hotel or a resort. But, if you’re still in the state of frenzy as to what to wear to the ‘GRAND FINALE NIGHT’ of 2017, then PEACE OUT, we’ve got you covered here. Presenting to you the FABULOUS 5 picks that can be easily pulled-off on a NYE based on the venues. You’ll love them, we assure it. Ring in 2018 in style bae!!!

  1. Low-Key at a house partyHouse-Party

House parties go with New Year’s Eve like bread goes with jam. In short, house parties are the best. There’s absolutely no stress about what outfit to wear and what matching heels to slip-in, as long as you’re feeling fabulous and comfortable in the outfit. But then a casual pair of jeans and a t-shirt combo is just too passé for your personality. We’re thinking, an embroidered slip dress over a graphic tee and a pair of sneakers for girls, and a Henley tee with a pair of distressed jeans and sneakers for guys. Let’s bring the house down fellas!

  2. Under the starshike

A tent for a perfect hide-out, a starry night for a blanket, and a mountain top for the venue on the NYE. BLISS! If you’ve decided to ditch the hustle-bustle of the city, trek to the mountains and spend your NYE in peace. Trust us, ‘tis the second best place where you don’t have to worry about the dress code. A printed tee, a pair of comfy joggers or shorts, sturdy hiking boots, and a warm jacket for the night is all you need to wrap-up the year.

  3. HOTEL? Oh, Yeah!Hotel

Trust us, looking stylish on NYE is a necessity. And, if you’re headed out to the Lalit’s, Oberoi’s and Hilton’s of the country, you better dress-up right for the night. Depending on the dress code, wearing a black-tie outfit is a fail-proof winner for men. Take inspirations from Leonardo Di Caprio from The Great Gatsby movie OR the stunning Gabriel Match from the series, Suits. Ladies, embrace ‘em curves in strappy flowy gowns or maxi dresses, just like the way Beyonce does it on the red carpet, and turn the night into one magical event. Hopefully, the event will be indoors. Else, carry a light shawl.

  4. Da Club!Club-hopping

If clubbing at a bar or a club is on the agenda, think TRENDY over CLASSY. Yup, that’s right! Ladies, all that ‘glitters is definitely gold’. Stand out in a glittery/ sequins ( Macro trend of the year.) dress that’ll make e’ryone turn their heads around. Team it up with a pair of high ankle boots with block heels. This serves dual purpose – a) Keeps your legs warm in the chilly weather. B) No-pain-in-the-heel, when you’re club hopping. Guys, try on a dapper combo of a white tee with a pair of blue jeans. White + blue combo is a serial killer anyday. Complete your look with a pair of white sneakers and a jacket. Now go on, BURN THE DANCE FLOOR!

  5. Too Cool in a Pool! Pool-Party

What do you do when life gives you 10 Degrees temperature, a bunch of crazy friends and a pool party? Well, you turn up the temp. by looking ultra-hot. Ladies, channel that poolside glamour in a tank top with a pair of hot-pants or a mini skirt and straw wedges/ sliders instead of heels. Put a shrug on to complete your look. Guys, how does a pair of khaki shorts, an earthy colored shirt, and a pair of sliders sound? Great to us! Feeling chilly? Replace your short sleeves tee with a sweatshirt. Just remember to pick the right footwear, you never know when you’re forced to take a dive in the pool.
