Longline shrugs have been making the rounds of womenswear for a while now. But this season, the boys are giving the trend a run for its money. We’re talking long jackets teamed with cropped trousers. You could go quirky in a printed or striped cotton jacket teamed with a T-shirts, distressed denims and sneakers. Or take the classic route and wear a structured jacket with cropped trousers, a tee or a shirt and formal shoes. Little touches like man-brooches and hats go a long way!

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Add some fishnet stockings and ankle boots and get ready to make your own style statement. As for the boys— think A boxy sweatshirt worn over a classic white longline shirt and cropped trousers. Slip on your favourite kicks and you’re all set.

Sportswear has sparked a major fashion frenzy and we’re telling you how to get a piece of the action. We’re talking about pairing sporty bombers or varsity jackets with just about anything from a dress to shorts and a tee. The boys can keep it simple by going for a monochrome bomber paired with joggers and a tee while the ladies can go all the way and try an embellished or printed one with a dress. Just remember to balance the look with classic white sneakers or trendy high-top boots.

THE CLASSIC GETS A MAKEOVER

White shirts may have been done to death, but, there’s a reason that they’re still a wardrobe essential. This season it’s time to take the classic and give it a stylish twist. Wear it under a sleeveless denim dress to make an easy-breezy style statement. Or embrace the inner bohemian-goddess in you and wear it with skinny jeans and a dupatta draped like a half-saree. The boys can channel their quirky side by doing denim on denim with a hint of white peeking out underneath. Or just thrown on a printed longline jacket and your sharpest leather shoes and voilà!
